To come up with an original and useful gift with your own hands is often not so easy. I would like to use the gift in the future and noted how much he liked it. Before the New Year holidays you can find hundreds of self-made gift ideas. We offer one interesting and at the same time simple idea - a Christmas natural aroma lamp, which, among other things, looks really magical! It is possible to make such a jar with aromatic oil, a floating candle and spices for yourself - it creates an incredible pre-holiday atmosphere and fills the house with delicious aromas.

For Christmas aroma lamp you will need:

  • empty blank jars 0.5;
  • inexpensive olive oil (not Extra Virgin!);
  • dried orange, mandarin, lemon, etc;
  • cinnamon sticks;
  • small pine cones and some needles;
  • essential oils (orange, rosemary, cinnamon);
  • floating candles.

The creation process looks very simple. First, fill the jar with the “dry” component: dried fruit crusts, pine needles, cones, cinnamon. But do not fill the jar to the top: leave a little space for olive oil and a candle floating on top. Dry ingredients can be changed at your discretion, add, for example, dried berries, etc.

Then add essential oils to your liking. Sweet orange, lemon, rosemary and cinnamon oils are good. Remember that they are quite strong, and therefore you should add them in small quantities. Then, low-priced olive oil, not Extra Virgin, is poured into the jar, as it has a pronounced odor that can kill the aromas of essential oils. Oil is also poured not to the very top, so that there is room for a floating candle. It is placed in the bank at the very last.

It remains only to light a candle and wait until the house is filled with spicy aromas of the upcoming magical holidays.
