Knitted clothes are often devoid of a fastener, since it is quite difficult to sew it yourself. This method allows you to perform such work quickly and accurately.

You will need:

  • Knitted thing;
  • zipper, suitable for length;
  • pen, paper;
  • chalk or white pencil;
  • hook for lifting loops;
  • Knitting needles;
  • yarn;
  • scissors;
  • darning needle

Draw stitches on the paper with a pen. The distance between them should match the knitting rows. Next, transfer the markup to a zipper with a white pencil.

Pull the yarn through the zipper fabric using the hook to raise the loops. Form a loop of the desired size on the surface using a knitting needle with which the main item is knitted.

Then you should knit a pigtail of loops, constantly piercing the fabric of the zipper, and controlling the size of the loops with a needle. These braids knit on both sides of the clasp. The step is determined by the applied markup

Insert a large darning needle into the bottom loop and seam with the edge of the knit.

So you can quickly make a neat smooth seam. The clasp will not move down because it is sewn evenly on both sides.
